Are the materials used in the Munchie Mug safe for my child?
All materials and colored dyes are made in the United States and meet FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and 170.39 criteria for direct food contact. The graphic on the cup is printed in the USA using offset printing inks made in Germany (only European offset inks meet, and exceed, FDA standards for food contact products).
How does the fabric hold up to repeated use and cleaning?
We have had many Mugs in the field for over a year, and the fabric has shown little sign of stretch during this period. Over time and with repeated use, some “balling” and “normal fabric wear” may be noticeable on the surface of the fabric, but this will not affect the function of the Munchie Mug. Prolonged cleaning in the dishwasher (using only the top shelf) has likewise shown to have no ill effect on the fabric or Mug itself.
Is the Mug sturdy?
The entire Mug is made from polypropylene (fabric is 85% polypropylene) and has good impact and tear strength. The Mug can take lots of dropping and normal child-type abuse with little or no damage.
How old must my child be and how long will it take them to learn to use the Mug?
We have found that children as young as 10 months old can learn to use the Mug. Those under 18 months may need a little training – but the fact is a hungry child learns very quickly.
How do you keep food fresh if exposed to air for periods of time?
Each Munchie Mug is supplied with a clear threaded solid lid that can replace the special fabric lid and keep the food fresh whenever the Mug is not in use.

If I have more than one child, how can I tell cups apart?
There is a small writable band on the lower portion of the special lid where names may be placed with a permanent marking pen.
